My name is Hannah Leib

and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I am passionate about providing mental health services, with a positive psychology and self esteem building framework to children and teens.

I have over 7 years of professional experience working with children 2-19 in a variety of settings, and have been a mental health advocate for children and teens since my undergraduate and Fulbright program.

As a clinician, I have worked for 4 years as a child and teen therapist in emergency Domestic Violence Shelters, a child therapist in an early intervention program (ages 0-3), and in my private practice where I specialize in anxiety, OCD, self esteem, family systems, and the highly sensitive child

My passion
was born from personal, impactful experiences

I wish that I had a therapist when I was a child, and throughout my teen years. It wasn’t until I began therapy in college, when I realized that I had negative core beliefs about myself that stemmed from my childhood. I had to work through these issues as an adult, and am now a confident and healthy young woman. Although, I place a strong emphasis on early intervention- if I had therapy as a younger person, I would have been able to prevent many insecurities and negative self-talk that burdened me throughout my teen years and young adulthood. This is why I am very passionate about what I do.

I am experienced in providing therapy and advocating for the importance of children’s mental health

I have passion for mental health activism and experience with working with children ages 2-19. I have provided therapy in emergency Domestic Violence Shelters for 4 years. The children I work with range in their age, trauma history, attachment style, and behavioral challenges. (ADHD, anxiety, depression, low self esteem).

I graduated from Pitzer College with a bachelors in Psychology. During my Junior Year of College, I started a mental health/ advocacy group called “Thrive”, for all five of the Claremont Colleges. The goal was to help students process mental health challenges (especially because the wait for a therapist was 6 weeks).

Thrive was very successful, and I was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English and create “Thrive” in Sofia, Bulgaria. I lived in Bulgaria for one year, and then lived in Spain the following year to teach English.

Following my time abroad, I graduated with my Masters of Social Work from University of Southern California in 2020. My focus in my masters program was in Children, Youth, and Families.

I am here to help your children
Grow and Glow

I am very passionate about the work I do and absolutely love working with kids. I strive to be a safe space for my clients to explore who they are, what they are going through, and help them grow into their best selves.
